Boldi

Sculptor

studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in 1990 and went on to complete his studies as a sculptor at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest.

The creation of human figures not only reveals their true form, but also expresses both the artist’s outlook on life and their empathy. The subtle harmony between imagination and reason testifies to both the artist’s maturity and their creativity.

The figures depicted by Boldi are often women with rounded, voluptuous figures, shown in their private moments, sitting cross-legged or lying on the floor in everyday situations. Sometimes gentle, pensive or sensual, they exude a mysterious power whilst at the same time conveying deep human emotions.

Through his careful craftsmanship of this fine material, he creates a tribute to the beauty of nature. The fine marble is mostly sourced from the prestigious quarry in Carrara, from which Michelangelo himself created his masterpieces.

Boldi’s works have been exhibited worldwide – in Hungary, France, Brazil, China, South Korea, Turkey, the USA, Israel, the UK, Ireland, Austria, the Netherlands and Spain.
