János Biró
Graphic Designer
is of Transylvanian origin. He received his master degree in graphic art from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest.
In printmaking, he is particularly fascinated by traditional techniques and craftsmanship, while at the same time he is inspired by the countless creative possibilities offered by the medium. Alongside printmaking, he also works with photography and wood sculpture.
Through his work, he strives to create a strong atmospheric and intuitive experience for the viewer. Animals are the central subjects of my images, serving as metaphors through which he evokes human emotions, aspirations, and the ongoing search for meaning.

The boundless world of the woodcut series titled Ember (Parázs), the chaotic space of unmarkedness, radiates tension and an ambivalent tranquility. The earth and the animals seem to be made of the same substance. This perfect unity can simultaneously signify a merging together and an existential disintegration.
